Typhoon Yagi has caused serious damage in the northern region of Vietnam. According to statistics, more than 300 people have died or are missing, and about 26,000 houses have been destroyed or severely damaged. In response, Lotte Group has quickly taken action to support the affected areas with the hope of helping people overcome the consequences of the natural disaster and return to normal life.

A representative of Lotte World Vietnam shared: "This is a practical action to share the difficulties with families who suffered heavy losses, helping them quickly overcome the consequences of natural disasters and stabilize their lives. Lotte World Vietnam is always committed to sustainable development with the community and will continue to accompany charity and social support programs."

Lotte Group has been actively participating in community activities in recent times. During the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020 and 2021, Lotte donated billions of VND to help Vietnam control the epidemic and develop a vaccine fund. In addition, the group also organized other community activities such as tree planting and environmental protection, along with special television programs introducing these activities.
