Standing Committee of Provincial People's Council held October session

After listening to the announcement and the expected program, the delegates all agreed: The 12th session of the 15th Provincial People's Council will take place on November 3 and consider and pass 4 resolutions: Approving the investment policy of the Project to build a 7-storey classroom building + library of the Provincial Political School; adjusting the medium-term public investment plan of the State budget for the period 2021 - 2025 and adjusting the public investment plan in 2023, Dien Bien province; approving the investment policy of the Project to preserve and embellish the relics of Him Lam Resistance Center (phase II); dismissing and electing additional members of the Provincial People's Committee for the term 2021 - 2026.

Delegates highly agreed with the proposed agenda of the 13th session of the 15th Provincial People's Council. Accordingly, the regular session at the end of 2023 will take place for 2.5 days, from December 6 to 8. This session will consider 13 reports; consider and approve 6 resolutions submitted by the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council and 24 resolutions submitted by the Provincial People's Committee; take a vote of confidence for those holding positions elected by the Provincial People's Council; question and answer questions. After discussing, supplementing and amending a number of contents to comply with the order and regulations, delegates agreed on the list and time of the plan to organize the vote of confidence for 29 people holding positions elected by the Provincial People's Council.

At the meeting, the Committee for Culture and Society, the Provincial People's Council reported the results of monitoring and grasping the situation regarding the content of the Lao Dong Electronic Newspaper laodong.vn reflecting "Verification of the encroachment of a special national relic in Dien Bien". After studying related documents and monitoring the reality, the Committee for Culture and Society agreed that the content of the reflection was not completely accurate. The Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council requested the Committee to complete the report and send it to the Provincial People's Committee.

Also at the meeting, delegates discussed, adjusted and agreed on a number of contents in the plan to implement the program to survey the implementation of the public investment plan in 2023. Accordingly, the committees coordinated with the groups of provincial People's Council delegates running for election in localities to proactively schedule direct surveys of projects in the area. In particular, based on the report of the Provincial People's Committee, focusing on projects that have cut capital and transferred to other projects... The monitoring delegations will have a report on the results before November 13.

With 2 resolutions to establish a specialized monitoring delegation of the Provincial People's Council on 2 contents: Implementation of land allocation, forest allocation, granting of forest land use right certificates; payment for forest environmental services in the period of 2019 - 2023 in the province; compliance with the law in criminal trial activities; execution of criminal and civil judgments in the province in the period of 2021 - 2026, the delegates basically agreed.
