Practice forest fire prevention, fighting and rescue plan in 2025

The hypothetical situation is: On March 19, 2025, the weather is dry, the heat is prolonged, the forest fire forecast is at level IV. The Den Sang village forest patrol team consisting of 5 people led by the local forest ranger organized a patrol of the forest area managed by the Bat Xat Nature Reserve Management Board and discovered a fire at Lot 4, Compartment 5, Sub-area 69. The patrol team proceeded to put out the fire but due to the small force, the fire could not be controlled. The local forest ranger reported to the Village Chief to mobilize forces and people in the village to put out the fire and save the forest. Realizing that there was a risk of the fire getting out of control of the Den Sang village fire prevention team, the Head of the village fire prevention team reported to the District Chief, Head of the Bat Xat Nature Reserve Management Board and Chairman of the People's Committee of Den Sang commune to request reinforcements. Upon receiving the news, the Bat Xat Nature Reserve Management Board and the People's Committee of Den Sang Commune mobilized local forces and vehicles in conjunction with the village's forces to move to the location of the forest fire to participate in firefighting, clear firebreaks, and prevent the fire from spreading into the natural forest.

Forces approached the fire, extinguished the fire and saved the forest.

The practical part took place with the participation of nearly 70 people including military forces, police, forest rangers and local people.

Thanks to the coordinated operations, the firefighting forces quickly deployed plans and contained the fire. After about 15 minutes, the forces extinguished the fire, preventing it from spreading, ensuring the safety of people and vehicles.
