Muong Khuong organizes the first voluntary blood donation festival in 2025

This year's voluntary blood donation festival had the participation of more than 500 people.

With the theme "Donate blood - give life", this year's Voluntary Blood Donation Festival has the participation of more than 500 cadres, civil servants, public employees, armed forces, youth union members, workers, volunteers from agencies, units, schools and communes and towns in the district.

In previous years, the district's voluntary blood donation festival was held once a year, but this year, based on the people's need for blood donation and the larger number of participants, Muong Khuong district divided it into two blood donation sessions per year.

During the first Voluntary Blood Donation Festival in 2025, the District Voluntary Blood Donation Steering Committee collected 283 units of blood, reaching 95% of the set target.

Donating blood to save lives - a noble act.

In recent years, the voluntary blood donation movement in Muong Khuong district has received positive responses from everyone, especially officials, civil servants, and employees of schools, armed forces, and agencies, departments, and branches of the district. Not only donating blood, each person also mobilizes relatives and other volunteers to participate, contributing to solving the blood shortage.

Voluntary blood donation is a noble act, demonstrating the understanding, compassion and responsibility of each individual to the community. Each unit of blood can save the life of a patient, bringing health, joy and happiness to the patient's family. In order to have a regular, safe and sustainable blood supply, in 2025 and the following years, Muong Khuong district strives to have more than 1,000 people register to donate blood voluntarily each year to provide more for the blood bank.
