Here, health care expert Lauren Lepley, a famous nutrition consultant in the UK, shares foods that can help prevent cancer.

Cruciferous vegetables

The study, published in the International Journal of Cancer in 2018, found that women who ate more cruciferous vegetables had a lower risk of breast cancer.

Turmeric

Turmeric contains curcumin, which has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties that may help prevent cancer, says Lepley.

Research has shown that curcumin may help prevent many types of cancer, including breast, colon, and prostate cancer.

Also, don't forget the common advice of following a healthy, balanced diet, exercising regularly, quitting smoking and cutting down on alcohol, according to Express.
