Promoting linkage and cooperation in tourism development between Dong Nai and Dien Bien

Leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Tourism Association of the two provinces: Dong Nai and Dien Bien chaired the discussion at the Tourism Promotion Conference.

Dong Nai Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism brought to the Conference many leaflets introducing the province's destinations and tourism products, along with many typical agricultural products and cuisines, attracting tourists. Introducing at the Conference, Ms. Le Thi Ngoc Loan, Director of Dong Nai Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, pointed out the potentials and strengths of the province's tourism: Dong Nai is located in the economic development quadrangle (Ho Chi Minh City - Binh Duong - Dong Nai - Ba Ria Vung Tau), the center connecting economic regions, raw material regions, and human resources. Convenient traffic connections. Dong Nai is also endowed by nature with potential for tourism development with an ecosystem of forests, waterfalls, rivers, lakes, mountains, etc., of which the Dong Nai World Biosphere Reserve and Cat Tien National Park stand out. The province has 68 provincial and national relics, and 3 national treasures. Besides, Dong Nai is also known as the capital of fruits, with rich and diverse cuisine such as fried sticky rice, grapefruit salad, braised shrimp from Tri An lake, dried fish...

Dong Nai has focused on investing in transport infrastructure and facilities to meet the needs of tourists. Up to now, Dong Nai province has 23 tourist areas and spots, 134 accommodation establishments with a capacity of about 8,000 guests, with many types of tourism such as: Sightseeing, entertainment, ecology, sports, religion, culture... The Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dong Nai welcomes tourism businesses, travel agencies, and tourists to visit and learn more about the land, culture and people of Bien Hoa - Dong Nai.

At the Conference, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Chuyen, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dien Bien also informed potential delegates and Dien Bien tourism products. She affirmed that this is an opportunity for the two sides to learn about and establish a relationship of cooperation and tourism development. At the same time, she proposed a number of contents, such as: Cooperation in State management of tourism; cooperation in developing tourism products; cooperation in promoting and advertising tourism. And requested tourism businesses and tourism services in Dong Nai province to promote cooperation to attract visitors to experience and explore the Northwest region in general, Dien Bien in particular.

Under the direction of the leaders of the 2 Departments and Tourism Associations of the 2 provinces, businesses, travel agencies, and tourism units of Dong Nai and Dien Bien shared and introduced some unique products and services; discussed and contributed ideas to perfect products, destinations, and services and proposed specific contents and solutions to promote and improve the effectiveness of linkage and cooperation activities to develop tourism between Dong Nai and Dien Bien.

The delegates basically agreed on the discussed contents. At the same time, after the Conference, businesses, establishments and units will sit together to negotiate and cooperate specifically.
