The Prime Minister expressed his emotion because this year's Mid-Autumn Festival he was able to visit, meet and celebrate with children being treated at the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion.
About 300 children and their families packed the hall of the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion to attend the Mid-Autumn Festival - Pink Smiles program.
Children's performances with the Mid-Autumn Festival theme were performed by sick children expressing joy in life and optimism in overcoming serious illnesses.
Speaking at a meeting with sick children and their families at the hospital, the Prime Minister stated that the Party and State always pay special attention to children's work. The State creates the best conditions, builds a safe and healthy living environment for children to develop comprehensively and considers this a strategic and long-term issue to improve the quality of human resources, creating a bright future for the country.
Immediately after the performance, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs Dao Ngoc Dung went on stage to present Mid-Autumn gifts and encourage each child patient to celebrate the full moon festival at the hospital this year.
The Head of Government broke the Mid-Autumn Festival cake with 300 children present in the hall.
