On the Malaysian side, there were Mr. Dato' Tan Yang Thai, Ambassador of Malaysia to Vietnam and representatives of the Malaysian National Oil and Gas Group (Petronas).
Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Nguyen Hoang Long expressed his joy and welcomed the Malaysian Ambassador to Vietnam as well as representatives of Petronas Group to work at the Ministry of Industry and Trade. During the meeting, the two sides discussed opportunities for cooperation in developing renewable energy projects.

On the Malaysian side, Ambassador Dato' Tan Yang Thai expressed deep interest in Vietnam's energy initiatives and shared that Malaysia is also implementing strategies to promote the use of renewable energy.

At the same time, the Ambassador also affirmed Malaysia's readiness to share experiences and support Vietnam in implementing renewable energy projects.

The meeting ended with a consensus on strengthening cooperation in the field of renewable energy between Vietnam and Malaysia. The two sides agreed to continue to exchange, share experiences and seek specific cooperation opportunities in the future.
