Received nearly 27,000 applications for ID cards for citizens

Accordingly, from March 1, the Provincial Police will continue to receive and process applications for issuing ID cards and electronic identification accounts for citizens at 28 locations, including: Headquarters of the Department of Administrative Management of Social Order, headquarters of the old district-level police (managed by the town police). Thanh Hoa City will arrange 2 locations at the headquarters of Dong Tho Ward Police and Dong Khe Commune Police.

Along with careful preparation of human resources, facilities, and technical equipment, the police force has stepped up propaganda work, increased support forces, and guided people to carry out procedures through the online public service portal, helping to reduce waiting time and travel costs for people. To ensure progress and avoid backlogs, officers and soldiers at the reception points have increased working hours, received and returned processing results to citizens on time.

From March 1 to now, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police have received nearly 27,000 ID card applications, returned nearly 8,000 ID cards to citizens; received more than 17,000 electronic identification account applications, and activated nearly 4,500 accounts.
