On the morning of April 6, U17 Vietnam continued to have a training session in Saudi Arabia, the venue for the 2025 U17 Asian Finals.
In the second match of Group B, U17 Vietnam will face the championship candidate of U17 Japan at 10:00 p.m. on April 7. In the previous match, U17 Japan won 4-1 against U17 UAE, while U17 Vietnam drew 1-1 with U17 Australia.
The training content of U17 Vietnam focuses on more defensive exercises and ball deployment with group coordination.
With the goal of achieving good results against Japan U17, coach Cristiano Roland spent extra time at the end of the training session to practice his finishing skills.
The Brazilian coach is strict with his players in every shot.
He constantly reminded the whole team that when facing a strong opponent, every opportunity in front of the goal must be fully exploited.
Sharing after the training session, goalkeeper Hoa Xuan Tin confidently affirmed: "U17 Vietnam is aiming for victory. In the difficult opening match against U17 Australia, the players were mentally strong, determined not to give up and scored an equalizer. We also had some attacking situations but were still unlucky to score.
I myself felt very nervous because it was my first time playing on the continental stage. I tried to keep my spirit up to protect the home team's goal."

Talking about the opponent U17 Japan, the goalkeeper of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Club highly appreciated the opponent, but the whole team has done careful research and will take the field with the goal of winning 3 points.
Tin shared: "I also watched the match tape of Japan U17 myself. Most of their goals came from crosses to striker number 10.
I discussed with my teammates who are marking the players in the penalty area. I will try to control the penalty area well, and further up, my teammates will support me."
When asked if he was confident about keeping a clean sheet in this match, Xuan Tin immediately replied: "This cannot be predicted, but if I continue to be trusted, I will try my best."
