Information on the content of the 10th Central Conference of the 13th Party Central Committee

This afternoon, October 11, the Party Committee of the Bloc of Agencies and Enterprises of Quang Tri province held the 13th conference of reporters, term 2020 - 2025.

Informing the basic contents of the 10th Central Conference of the 13th Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department Nguyen Quoc Khanh said that the conference took place in Hanoi for 3 days from September 18 to 20, 2024, discussing, commenting on and approving the draft political reports of the Party Central Committee (13th tenure); a report summarizing a number of theoretical and practical issues on the socialist-oriented renovation process over the past 40 years in Vietnam; a report of the Party Central Committee (13th tenure) on summarizing the work of Party building and implementing the Party Charter.

Draft report on the assessment of 5 years of implementing the 10-year socio-economic development strategy 2021-2030; directions and tasks for socio-economic development in the 5-year period 2026-2030; report summarizing the implementation of the election regulations within the Party issued together with Decision No. 244 dated June 9, 2014 of the Party Central Committee (11th tenure) and draft amendments and supplements to the election regulations within the Party; draft summary of the personnel work of the Party Central Committee (13th tenure) and directions for personnel work of the Party Central Committee (14th tenure).

The Central Committee gave opinions on the content of the introduction of the planning of the Politburo and Secretariat for the 14th tenure, 2026-2031; supplementing the planning of the Party Central Committee (14th tenure), 2026-2031 tenure; reporting on the implementation of the socio-economic development plan for 2024, the expected socio-economic development plan for 2025; reporting on the assessment of the implementation of the state budget in 2024, the state budget estimate for 2025; the national 3-year state budget-finance plan for 2025-2027; investment policy for the entire high-speed railway project on the North-South axis; policy of establishing Hue city directly under the Central Government; electing additional members of the Central Inspection Commission for the 13th tenure and a number of other important contents.

The Central Committee has studied, discussed, and basically approved the structure and main contents of the draft political report to be submitted to the 14th Party Congress, and at the same time approved the basic contents of the draft documents to be submitted to the 14th Party Congress, and agreed on the investment policy for the entire high-speed railway project on the North-South axis...

Also at the conference, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department Nguyen Quoc Khanh conveyed the content of Plan No. 170 dated September 23, 2024 of the Standing Committee of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee on implementing Directive No. 24 dated July 13, 2023 of the Politburo on firmly ensuring national security in the context of comprehensive and extensive international integration.
