But this year, when the Mid-Autumn Festival 2024 is approaching, it is the time when the people and people of the Northern provinces in general, and children in the Northern provinces in particular, are seriously affected by storm No. 3 - super typhoon Yagi, which caused heavy rain, flash floods, and widespread flooding, causing heavy damage to both people and property. Responding to the call of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Trade Union to support overcoming the damage caused by storms and floods in the North, in the spirit of the whole country "looking to the North", to share with the people facing difficulties caused by natural disasters, all gifts from children of officials, employees, and workers working at PTSC Quang Ngai during the Mid-Autumn Festival 2024 were collected by the Trade Union and Youth Union of PTSC Quang Ngai and sent to the North to support children and people in difficult circumstances there.
Specifically, on September 13, 2024, all 764 gifts (including milk, cakes, candies) with a total value of more than 61,000,000 VND were packaged and transported to the support item receiving point at Dien Hong Youth Activity Center, Quang Ngai city. On September 16, 2024, the "charity bus to the beloved North" carrying nearly 30 tons of essential goods, including gifts expressing the care and sharing of PTSC Quang Ngai children, arrived in Bac Kan. Each gift, although small, contributed to sharing and supporting the people and children here, spreading the spirit of national solidarity. Hopefully, this meaningful activity will contribute to orienting and enhancing the education of solidarity, mutual love, and “helping each other” for children, while also inspiring and motivating them to continue to strive to study well, practice good ethics, become excellent and kind Vietnamese people, and contribute to building an increasingly prosperous homeland.
