On March 18, 2025, in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam Oil and Gas Technical Services Corporation (PTSC) and BNP Paribas Bank held a strategic meeting to strengthen financial cooperation and discuss solutions to support PTSC in developing renewable energy projects.
In 2024, PTSC is honored to be the only Vietnamese enterprise to be honored at The Asset Triple A Treasurise Awards 2024, with the award “Best Trade Finance Solution, Energy – Utility, Regional – PTSC”. This award recognizes PTSC’s outstanding achievements in applying innovative financial solutions to optimize cash flow and improve performance in large-scale energy projects.
The Asset Triple A Treasure Awards 2024: World-class recognition
The Asset Triple A Treasurise Awards is a prestigious awards system organized by The Asset magazine, to honor businesses and financial institutions with outstanding contributions in the fields of financial management, treasury, trade finance and risk management. The award “Best Trade Finance Solution, Energy – Utility, Regional – PTSC” was presented to PTSC to recognize:
- Effective capital mobilization capability, helping to secure finance for the Greater Changhua Offshore Windfarm 2204 project – one of the largest offshore wind power projects in the region.
- Successful implementation of advanced trade finance solutions, including project guarantees, international credit and financial risk management.
Through strategic cooperation with BNP Paribas, PTSC has achieved full international financial capacity to ensure the progress and quality of the CHW2204 project, while optimizing the commercial transaction process when operating in the global renewable energy supply chain. This award is highly competitive with the participation of hundreds of businesses and financial institutions worldwide. The fact that PTSC became the only Vietnamese enterprise honored at this year's award shows the outstanding capacity of the Corporation in the field of renewable energy, especially in terms of project finance.
PTSC – BNP Paribas Cooperation: Promoting Sustainable Development
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Tran Ho Bac - General Director of PTSC shared: "The cooperation with BNP Paribas not only helps PTSC have a comprehensive financial solution, but also creates a solid foundation for us to develop sustainably in the field of renewable energy." Within the framework of the meeting, PTSC and BNP Paribas also discussed financial strategies to continue promoting sustainable growth, including:
- Introducing BNP Paribas' specialized financial solutions for PTSC in the renewable energy sector.
- PTSC's development orientation focuses on expanding its investment portfolio in offshore wind power and enhancing international competitiveness.
