(Dan Tri) - Contestant Ngoc Ha excellently won First Prize in the online singing contest "Unification Song", thanks to her performance of the song "Picky" once associated with Hoa Minzy.
The online singing contest Song of Reunification was initiated by the Vietnam Musicians Association in October last year, aiming to celebrate the 50th anniversary of national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
The contest attracted more than 1,000 contestants from across the country. Through more than 200 casting sessions, 150 daily competitions, 20 weekly competitions and 5 monthly competitions, the jury selected the 12 best contestants to compete in the semi-finals.
The final night took place in Hanoi on the evening of March 24, where 6 talented singers including: Hoang Yen, Manh Kun, Mai Mai, Nhat Quang (Doo), Minh Quy, Ngoc Ha competed.

The jury of the final night gathered big names in the Vietnamese music industry such as: People's Artist Pham Ngoc Khoi, People's Artist Quang Vinh, People's Artist Ha Thuy, singer Nguyen Tran Trung Quan, lecturers Thanh Luan, Tien Tran. The program's advisor is journalist Tran Dang Tuan.
Contestant Ngoc Ha, 31 years old, from Hai Duong, conquered the judges with two impressive performances: Canh chim bao tin vui (Dam Thanh) and Ken ca chon canh (Tuan Cry). Although it was a famous hit by Hoa Minzy, she still made her own mark with her unique way of singing. Her high-pitched voice received a lot of applause from the audience.
Ngoc Ha graduated from the Vietnam National Academy of Music and works at the Vietnam National Song and Dance Theater. She won the First Prize at the Vietnam-China Friendship Singing Contest 2019 and the Gold Prize at the Asia Pacific Music Festival 2017 in Hong Kong (China). The singer has performed in many cultural exchange programs at home and abroad.
Manh Kun - a young man loved through social networks abroad - won the Most Favorite Contestant Award worth 50 million VND. He left his mark with two songs Tu Van and Ve Ve Me . The second prize of 20 million VND went to Doo from Hue, while Hoang Yen received the third prize.

2 Encouragement prizes were awarded to Minh Quy and Mai Mai. People's Artist Ha Thuy commented on Ngoc Ha: "Your song selection is very delicate". She also praised: "The progress of the 6 contestants is proof of passion and constant effort".
The final night not only awards valuable prizes to encourage young talents but is also an opportunity for the audience to vote, increasing the connection between the contestants and the public.
