Candidates register for high school graduation exam from May 2

In 2024, the Ministry of Education and Training will continue to apply the form of online exam registration on the Ministry's exam management system (http://thisinh.thitotnghiepthpt.edu.vn) for candidates who are students in grade 12; independent candidates register directly at the document collection points prescribed by the Department of Education and Training.

According to the instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training, students nationwide register for the high school graduation exam from May 2 to 5:00 p.m. on May 10, 2024.

Thus, students have 9 days to register for the exam, 1 day less than last year.

The 2024 high school graduation exam will take place on June 27 and 28 with 5 exams, including 3 independent exams: Math, Literature, Foreign Language (English, Russian, French, Chinese, German, Japanese and Korean); 1 combined exam of Natural Sciences including the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology; 1 combined exam of Social Sciences including the following subjects: History, Geography, Civic Education for candidates studying the high school education program or the following subjects: History, Geography for candidates studying the continuing education program.

Candidates should note that exam registration is different for candidates studying in educational programs.

Specifically, to be considered for graduation recognition, candidates studying the high school education program must register to take all 4 exams, including 3 independent exams: Math, Literature, Foreign Language and 1 combined exam of the candidate's choice (Natural Science or Social Science).

For candidates studying the regular education program, they only have to register to take 3 exams, including 2 independent exams: Math, Literature and 1 combined exam of the candidate's choice (Natural Science or Social Science).

Dr. Le My Phong - Deputy Director of the Department of Quality Management, Ministry of Education and Training noted that candidates need to keep their accounts confidential for the purpose of taking the exam and admission because each student is only given one account. During the data update process, candidates can ask for help from schools because one of the requirements of the Ministry of Education and Training is that the exam units must support candidates.

In order for candidates to be confident and complete the 2024 High School Graduation Exam well, Dr. Le My Phong noted that they need to proactively review and closely follow the content taught at school and textbooks.

At the same time, students can practice by doing test questions based on the sample test structure issued by the Ministry of Education and Training.
