More than 122,000 candidates who have not confirmed their admission can apply for additional admission from August 28.

According to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, all candidates admitted to university this year must confirm their admission online. Candidates must complete the confirmation of admission on the Ministry's system no later than 5:00 p.m. on August 27.

At the end of the registration period for admission according to regulations, on the evening of August 27, the Ministry of Education and Training announced the number of candidates confirming admission for the first batch of 2024, along with data compared to 2023.

Accordingly, the number of candidates registering for university admission in 2024 is 733,652 candidates; the number of candidates admitted on the system is 673,586 candidates; the number of candidates confirmed to be enrolled is 551,479 candidates. The ratio of admitted candidates/admitted candidates is 81.87%.

Thus, in 2024, there will be 122,107 candidates who do not confirm university admission, equivalent to 18.13%.

Compared to 2023, the number of candidates confirmed for admission this year increased by 56,991 candidates.

From August 28 to December 2024, candidates who need to apply for additional admission rounds of training institutions need to find information at the school to find the most suitable choice for themselves.

According to regulations, candidates who have not passed the entrance exam or have passed the entrance exam but have not yet confirmed their admission to any school can register for additional admission rounds according to the plan and instructions of the training institution.

Candidates can continue to register for additional admission wishes on the System or the National Public Service Portal like other candidates for training institutions to consider. If admitted, candidates will confirm their enrollment according to the general schedule.
