I didn't care because from childhood to adulthood, I never thought I would become an actor," he confided.

However, when participating in plays in class, Minh Du really liked it and was encouraged by teachers and friends to participate in game shows. Next, Minh Du was loved by the audience through the program Dau truong tieu lam 2016 and joined the World Youth stage. Because he did not have formal training, when performing a long play, he was "out of breath" compared to his colleagues.

Recalling the first time he entered the class of the veteran male artist, Minh Du shared: "Everyone informed me that it was an intensive class at Truong Hung Minh stage taught by Mr. Huu Chau. He taught about voice, performance techniques and there were only about 30 students. At that time, everyone had been studying for a month and Mr. Huu Chau was very difficult because the students had to be recruited by him, not just paid to study. I asked Mr. Minh Nhi to let me into that class because he opened that class, so I asked him first. Mr. Minh Nhi agreed, but when I entered the class, Mr. Huu Chau kicked me out and did not let me into the class."

Minh Du confirmed that he went to ask Meritorious Artist Huu Chau for permission to enter the class but was flatly refused. Although he felt sad because he did not receive permission, the actor of Ti's Story still sat in the cafeteria.

Minh Du cherishes the feelings of Meritorious Artist Huu Chau for him.

He said: "If only I was with the teacher at that time, it would have been fine, but there were nearly 30 people there, so I felt embarrassed. After that, everyone went into the classroom and I ordered a bottle of soft drink in the cafeteria for nearly half an hour but no one came out. I was about to go home but I kept lingering, not knowing what I was thinking at that time, then a few seniors called me to sit at the back of the classroom. They also said that the teacher allowed me to come in to study. According to everyone, the teacher kept lecturing and then suddenly remembered me so he called everyone out to see if I was still sitting there and luckily I was still in the cafeteria."

Minh Du's acting training process encountered many difficulties because artist Huu Chau often changed his performance. Although frustrated, the 30-year-old actor still persevered in his studies. He faced many difficulties when playing the role of Nieng in the play Song Dai. However, in the end, it was Minh Du's impressive role.

When becoming close to artist Huu Chau, Minh Du realized that he was a sensitive person and always paid attention to his student's feelings. Even when his student had a lover or broke up, Huu Chau knew. Therefore, when facing failures, the 9X actor often asked his teacher for advice.

"When I didn't know how to handle the changes in my work, life and family, the person I asked to meet was Mr. Huu Chau.
