Since 2014, the charity kitchen of Minh Thuc Ninh Binh Charity Fund initiated by Venerable Thich Thanh Phu and monks of Quang Son Pagoda (Tam Diep City) has always been on fire. Up to now, the kitchen has received the support and cooperation of Red Cross volunteers, philanthropists, etc., so its scale has been increasingly expanded.
The selected ingredients are nutritious foods, ensuring food safety and especially prepared with all the love and encouragement sent to the patients undergoing treatment at the City Medical Center every Wednesday.
From March 2023, the kitchen will continue to expand to provide meals to patients at Ninh Binh Rehabilitation Hospital every Tuesday and Thursday morning.

Warm and meaningful meals are not only timely and meaningful support for patients, including many disadvantaged patients, but also a beautiful story, spreading the spirit of mutual love widely in the community.
In 2022, the kitchen donated over 2,000 meals, worth over 75 million VND, to patients. Since the beginning of 2023, over 1,200 meals have been delivered to patients.
Also in 2022, 25 million VND was donated by Red Cross volunteers and benefactors to the charity kitchen through the City Red Cross Society.
Over the years, Tam Diep city has always been one of the leading localities in the province in humanitarian and charitable movements. In particular, with the motto of mobilizing on-site relief as the main focus, the Red Cross Associations at all levels of Tam Diep city have visited and encouraged cases of illness, serious illness, accidents, sudden difficulties, people on dialysis, especially difficult cases, orphans, lonely elderly people with no place to rely on...
Mobilize and coordinate with sponsors to give gifts to families of Agent Orange victims on the Day for Agent Orange/dioxin victims (August 10); give gifts to Association officials who are wounded and sick soldiers on the Day for Wounded and Martyrs (July 27); organize festivals and give gifts to orphans, children of humanitarian addresses being helped, pediatric patients being treated at Ninh Binh Rehabilitation Hospital on the occasion of International Children's Day (June 1) and Mid-Autumn Festival, give gifts on the occasion of "Humanitarian Month".
Since the beginning of 2023, the City Red Cross Society has focused on organizing and implementing assigned tasks well. In particular, the responsibility of implementing and spreading humanitarian and charitable activities has been effectively carried out by the Society at all levels.
Accordingly, the Association at all levels presented 2,024 gifts, helped 97 humanitarian addresses; mobilized funds to support the construction of a house to help households in especially difficult circumstances; coordinated to mobilize 735 blood units. The total value of activities in the first 9 months of 2023 of the City Red Cross Association was over 1.6 billion VND, helping over 2,000 people in difficult circumstances benefit.

With such timely and practical support, many humanitarian addresses have overcome their circumstances and risen up in life. Among them, 2 households have escaped poverty, 1 child has finished university and has a stable job, 2 children are studying at university, 2 children have gone to work and have income to help their family, 1 mental patient has been hospitalized for treatment and now his illness is stable and he knows how to take care of himself and his family... other addresses have improved their lives compared to before receiving support.
Diverse and rich charitable and humanitarian activities also attract local people to participate in practical tasks, helping each other in the community such as supporting working days to help build and repair charity houses, helping harvest crops, helping with housework, supporting seeds to help each other develop the economy, taking care of lonely people in hospital, and burying lonely people when they pass away; 100% of salaried cadres and members support the establishment of funds: Education Promotion, Social Security, Disaster Prevention... and supporting other movements launched by all levels and sectors.
Typical in humanitarian relief and social assistance work are the Red Cross Association of Bac Son Ward, Nam Son Ward, Trung Son Ward; Red Cross Association of Le Hong Phong Primary School, Red Cross Association of Rehabilitation Hospital, Group 2 of Tan Binh Ward, Group 15 of Bac Son Ward, Yen Lam Village, Yen Son Commune, Village 4B of Dong Son Commune.
Units actively participating in charity activities are Nhat Minh Son Company Limited, Son Tung Pharmaceutical Company Limited, Ha Long Tourism Service, Long Son Company and many other benefactors.
