Yen Bai youth join hands to overcome consequences after flood

TPO - With the spirit of "Wherever there is a need, there are youth, wherever there is difficulty, there are youth", the green shirts have joined hands to spread the spirit of volunteerism and sharing, helping people in the flooded areas of Yen Bai to soon stabilize their lives.
In the days after the flood, on all the roads in Yen Bai city, the green shirts of young volunteers spread across the streets and alleys to support people in cleaning up mud and cleaning the environment.
Talking to Tien Phong , Ms. Ha Van Kieu - Secretary of Mu Cang Chai District Youth Union said that the district youth union mobilized nearly 50 youth union members to participate in supporting city residents in cleaning up and overcoming the consequences of floods.
After arriving, the members divided into two groups to help clean up and provide food and necessities to households affected by floods in Yen Bai city.

Youth volunteers went to each house, helping people sweep away mud, clean tables and chairs, clean the environment, and clear roads blocked by storms and floods. At schools and medical stations, members rearranged tables and chairs, washed away mud, and cleaned the schoolyard and functional rooms.
For affected households, union members support necessities and gifts.
Along with the work of overcoming the consequences of floods, Yen Bai Provincial Youth Union directly visited and encouraged families who suffered human losses due to landslides in the district.
At the families, the leaders of Yen Bai Provincial Youth Union sent their deepest condolences to the relatives and families of the deceased. They hoped that the families would soon overcome the pain and stabilize their lives. At the same time, they presented the support of the provincial youth union and gifts from benefactors to the families.
Mr. Dong Manh Linh - Deputy Secretary of Yen Bai Provincial Youth Union said that the human losses are irreparable, with the deepest sympathy for the people who have experienced the ultimate pain of losing their loved ones, hoping that with the timely attention, encouragement and support of Yen Bai Provincial Youth Union in particular and units, organizations and individuals in general will help the families regain their spirits and overcome the pain.
For families with injured relatives, severely damaged property, poor households with damaged houses, provincial youth union leaders visited, supported, encouraged, gave gifts and goods to help people stabilize their lives soon.
