Establishment of Steering Committee for rearranging commune-level administrative units in Binh Thuan province

According to the decision: The Head of the Steering Committee is Comrade Nguyen Hoai Anh - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council. The Deputy Heads include: Comrade Dang Hong Sy - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Comrade Do Huu Huy - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Comrade Nguyen Thanh Nam - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee Organization Committee. In which, Comrade Do Huu Huy is the Standing Deputy Head of the Committee.

The Steering Committee has the task and authority to direct the development of the Project on disorganization of district level, merging of commune-level administrative units according to Conclusion No. 127-KL/TW, dated February 28, 2025 of the Politburo, Secretariat; report to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Party Committee. Assign tasks to members of the Steering Committee and develop and promulgate Working Regulations. The Steering Committee works on a part-time basis. Members of the Steering Committee perform tasks as assigned by the Head of the Steering Committee. The Department of Home Affairs is the standing body of the Steering Committee. Documents of the Steering Committee are signed by the Head of the Steering Committee and Deputy Heads of the Steering Committee and use the seal of the Provincial Party Committee to serve the work. The Steering Committee mobilizes a Working Group consisting of representatives of leaders, professional civil servants of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee, the Department of Home Affairs and related agencies. The Steering Committee dissolves itself after completing its tasks.
