On the afternoon of April 2, the Provincial Party Committee of Party Agencies held an announcement of the decision to establish the grassroots Party Committee of Long An Newspaper and Radio and Television Station under the Provincial Party Committee of Party Agencies.

At the conference, the Organizing Committee of the Party Committee of the provincial Party agencies announced the decision to establish the Long An Newspaper and Radio and Television Station Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term; announced the decision to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary of the Long An Newspaper and Radio and Television Station Party Committee.

Accordingly, the Executive Committee of the Long An Newspaper and Radio and Television Station's Party Committee consists of 12 comrades. Editor-in-Chief of Long An Newspaper and Radio and Television Station - Le Hong Phuoc was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee; Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Long An Newspaper and Radio and Television Station - Chau Hong Kha held the position of Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee.

The Long An Newspaper and Radio and Television Station's grassroots Party Committee currently has 93 party members, directly under the Party Committee of the provincial Party agencies on the basis of merging the Long An Newspaper's grassroots Party Committee directly under the Party Committee of the provincial Party agencies and the Long An Radio and Television Station's grassroots Party Committee directly under the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee.

Speaking at the announcement ceremony of the decision, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation - Nguyen Thanh Hai hoped that after the merger, the Party Committee of Long An Newspaper and Radio and Television Station would promote the role and responsibility of the leaders, especially the Secretary, Deputy Secretary and Standing Committee, focus on building internal solidarity, stabilizing the ideology of Party members and the masses as well as promptly building and completing the political report to serve the Party Congress at the grassroots level for the term 2025 - 2030.

He also suggested that the Party Committee of Long An Newspaper and Radio and Television Station should focus on building the agency in the direction of developing the provincial newspaper and radio station to reach the regional and national level, meeting the requirements of multimedia and multi-platform press and communication, improving the quality of operations, improving income for officials and employees, and meeting the trend of modern press and communication.
