Meeting to celebrate the founding anniversary of the Bar Association

At the meeting , delegates reviewed the 70-year journey of establishment and development of the Vietnam Bar Association and 36 years of the Binh Thuan Bar Association. That process affirmed that, with tireless efforts and struggles for the set principles and purposes, generations of cadres and members of the Vietnam Bar Association have always received the trust of the Party, the State and the love of the people.

Mr. Tran Van Hai - Chairman of the Provincial Lawyers Association spoke at the meeting.

Under the leadership of the Party and the attention of the State, the Vietnam Lawyers Association has continuously developed and matured . From 40 initial members, the whole country now has 102,000 members, affirming its position as an important political - social - professional organization in the political system of Vietnam. Binh Thuan alone , from 30 members since its establishment, now has 2,256 members with 168 branches . Among them are many capable and experienced lawyers who have been and are doing legal work in State agencies, political - social organizations, lawyers and legal consultants participating in the organization. Thanks to that, the Association's activities are increasingly rich and diverse in form with increasingly high quality and efficiency , notably in legal propaganda, legal aid and legal consultancy.

The meeting also acknowledged the enthusiastic contributions of former leaders of the Provincial Bar Association and its members for the continuous development of the Bar Association. Promoting the glorious tradition of the Vietnam Bar Association over the past 70 years, the associations at all levels and members of the Provincial Bar Association will continue to uphold the spirit of responsibility, proactiveness, and creativity to well implement the specific goals and targets set by the resolutions of the 14th Congress of the Vietnam Bar Association and the 8th Congress of the Provincial Bar Association, contributing to the successful implementation of the political tasks of each locality and unit.
