Binh Thuan province was selected by the Central Steering Committee to participate in the "National Day for National Security Protection" in 2025.

This is an activity to educate the tradition of patriotism, national pride, raise awareness, responsibility, and vigilance of cadres and party members, continue to acknowledge the great role and strength of the masses in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland and building a truly clean, strong, disciplined, elite, modern people's police force, meeting the requirements and tasks in the new situation. Promote the spirit of vigilance, resolutely fight to defeat the "peaceful evolution" strategy of hostile forces, contributing to maintaining security and order at the grassroots level. The festival is organized at the grassroots level to attract a large number of cadres, party members and people to directly participate, creating a vibrant and widespread competitive atmosphere, contributing to improving the quality and effectiveness of the movement of the entire people to protect the national security to develop deeply, sustainably, and effectively, meeting the requirements and tasks of protecting security and order in the new situation, at the same time, praising, rewarding and replicating outstanding models, collectives and individuals, typical examples in the movement of the entire people to protect the national security at the grassroots level. The organization of the festival is expected to include 2 parts, the Festival and the Ceremony, which have profound and practical meanings, suitable for each locality to attract a large number of people to respond and participate. In preparation for the Festival, the Provincial People's Committee requested sectors and localities to step up propaganda work on the tradition of patriotism, national pride, the leadership role of the Party, the achievements of the country and localities, the role and great strength of the People in the cause of national liberation, building and defending the Fatherland, the heroic tradition of the People's Public Security Force, the position, role and importance of the movement of the entire people to protect national security, the responsibility of the Party committees, authorities, the Fatherland Front, member organizations and social classes in building the movement. Apply a variety of forms and methods of propaganda suitable to the reality of the unit and locality. Focus on propaganda before, during and after the festival, the August Revolution anniversary, the traditional day of the People's Public Security Force, National Day September 2, etc. Organize the construction, preliminary review, consolidation and replication of effective "self-defense, self-management" models that contribute to ensuring security and order, commend and reward collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in building the movement, propose the Ministry of Public Security to award the "Protecting Homeland Security" medal to individuals who have made many contributions to the cause of protecting the local Fatherland's security. Organize activities to educate on traditions, culture, physical education, sports, returning to the source, showing gratitude, repaying favors, visiting and encouraging families with meritorious services, people with revolutionary contributions, poor and disadvantaged households, forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level, officers and soldiers in especially difficult circumstances. In addition, implementing mass mobilization work and effectively promoting the models of "Skilled Mass Mobilization" to participate in social security programs, joining hands for the poor, "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" contributes to strengthening people's trust in the Party, government and people's police force.

This is also an activity to review the historical tradition of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Forces' Traditional Day, associated with the great contribution of the People in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland. Assess the situation and results of the organization of the Festival in the past 20 years, point out difficulties and limitations, draw lessons, propose directions, tasks and solutions to organize the Festival and the movement to develop extensively and sustainably. The expected time to organize the Festival is from July 1, 2025 to July 31, 2025, except for educational institutions that can organize it earlier, in accordance with the study program of students.
