On July 17, information from the Thanh Hoa Department of Education and Training said that the results of the 2024 high school graduation exam in Thanh Hoa province had 914 scores of 10, ranking first nationwide.

Specifically as follows: civics 302 points 10, geography 282 points 10, history 194 points 10, chemistry 120 points 10, English 10 points 10, physics 5 points 10 and biology 1 point 10. Math alone has no points 10.

In the 2023 high school graduation exam, Thanh Hoa province had up to 935 scores of 10, with the number of candidates registering for the exam being more than 36,400.

Notably, in this year's exam, Thanh Hoa province had candidate To Thi Dieu, a student at Quang Xuong 4 High School (Quang Xuong District, Thanh Hoa) as the top candidate in group C nationwide, with scores of 9.75 in literature; 10 in history; and 10 in geography.

Also according to the Department of Education and Training of Thanh Hoa, the average score of the 2024 high school graduation exam in Thanh Hoa province is 6.82 points, ranked 18th out of 63 provinces and cities, up 3 places compared to 2023.

In the 2024 high school graduation exam, Thanh Hoa province has more than 38,000 candidates registered to take the exam, ranking 3rd in the country, after Hanoi (more than 109,000 candidates) and Ho Chi Minh City (more than 88,000 candidates).
