This is one of the important events in the series of events to promote and stimulate tourism in Thanh Hoa province in 2024. On the afternoon of November 17, the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province held a consultation conference to complete the product "Thanh Hoa Tourism - Four Seasons of Fragrance". Attending the conference were comrade Nguyen Van Thi, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; departments, branches, member units of the Steering Committee for Tourism Development of Thanh Hoa province; Tourism Promotion Center, Tourism Association and tourism enterprises from provinces and cities in the Southeast region, including: Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai, Binh Duong and Ba Ria - Vung Tau.

Speaking at the opening of the conference, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thanh Hoa, Vuong Thi Hai Yen, affirmed: “Thanh Hoa province attaches great importance to the activities of linking and cooperating in tourism development with localities across the country to gradually improve products and expand the tourist market. In particular, the provinces and cities of the Southeast region are important markets that Thanh Hoa tourism is aiming for. Thanh Hoa province really hopes that through this conference, it will have more contributions and suggestions on strategic and sustainable solutions to gradually build and perfect tourism programs and services suitable for the markets of the provinces and cities of the Southeast region.”

In order for tourism linkage activities between the provinces and cities of the Southeast region and Thanh Hoa province to be more vibrant, localities need to further promote tourism promotion activities; create conditions for businesses to participate in surveying destinations and products to gradually perfect programs and build tours suitable to market needs. On the part of Thanh Hoa tourism businesses, it is necessary to focus on innovation and diversification of new and unique tour programs and routes; proactively connect with businesses in the provinces and cities of the Southeast region to build cooperation programs and promote two-way exchange of visitors. In particular, it is necessary to focus on highlighting the value of the destination in each experience and the brand "Thanh Hoa Tourism - Four Seasons of Fragrance".

Businesses also expressed their confidence that, from the market of the provinces and cities in the Southeast, Thanh Hoa tourism will have more opportunities to promote the attraction of domestic and foreign tourists, especially tourists with high spending ability and long-term stay.

He suggested that the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism continue to maintain close contact with departments, branches, units and tourism businesses of the provinces in the Southeast region to do a good job of establishing and exploiting the two-way tourist market. Along with that, research and absorb opinions at the conference to guide businesses in developing tours and tourist routes in particular and tourism development in Thanh Hoa province in general.

For the Tourism Association and tourism businesses in the province, it is necessary to maintain and improve product quality, diversify tourism services; actively build and apply many attractive forms of stimulus. Focus on developing new products, meeting market trends. Strengthen cooperation with the Tourism Association and tourism businesses in the Southeast region to discuss specific common activities, promptly remove difficulties and obstacles of businesses when building products.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Nguyen Van Thi, expressed his belief that, with the differences that make up the characteristics of Thanh Hoa tourism as well as tourism in the Southeast region; together with the orientation and close coordination of state management agencies, the companionship and support of local tourism businesses, Thanh Hoa tourism and tourism in the Southeast provinces and cities will move forward together, supporting each other to develop together. This is an important basis for Thanh Hoa tourism to continue to affirm the brand "Thanh Hoa Tourism - Four Seasons of Fragrance", exploiting the source of visitors from key tourism markets to Thanh Hoa throughout the four seasons of the year.

Previously, the famtrip delegation of the provinces and cities in the Southeast region had a program to survey destinations and service quality at a number of tourist areas and spots in the province such as: Lam Kinh Special National Monument (Tho Xuan), Ho Dynasty Citadel World Cultural Heritage (Vinh Loc), Cam Luong Fish Stream (Cam Thuy), Pu Luong Community Eco-Tourism Area (Ba Thuoc); Flamingo Ibiza Hai Tien (Hoang Hoa)... and a number of destinations and tourism products in Thanh Hoa City.
