The delegation visited, paid courtesy calls, and discussed and learned about some joint venture projects between Vietnam and China at Linh Trung III Export Processing and Industrial Zone, Trang Bang town.
Tay Ninh is an attractive destination for investors.
Mr. Tran Kien Van, Editor-in-Chief of the People's Daily, Alternate Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, gave positive assessments of Tay Ninh province. He emphasized: "Tay Ninh is one of the leading investment destinations for Chinese enterprises in the southern region of Vietnam, thanks to its strategic location, favorable investment environment and the local government's attention to attracting foreign capital."
According to the Tay Ninh Economic Zone Management Board, up to now, industrial parks and export processing zones such as Trang Bang, Linh Trung III, Cha La, Thanh Thanh Cong and TMTC have an occupancy rate of over 90%. Phuoc Dong Industrial Park alone is nearly 60%. Currently, this industrial park is compensating for the remaining area of the project, about 568 hectares.
As of March 27, the province’s industrial parks and economic zones have attracted 412 investment projects, including 311 FDI projects and 101 domestic projects, with a total registered investment capital of 9,782 million USD and 23,280 billion VND. Currently, the province has 310 projects in operation with investment from 21 countries and territories.
According to the Tay Ninh Economic Zone Management Board, currently, in industrial parks and economic zones, there are 142 projects registered by Chinese investors with a total investment capital of 5.8 billion USD and a total land area of about 890 hectares.
Of which, Trang Bang Industrial Park has 12 projects; Linh Trung III Export Processing and Industrial Zone has 38 projects; Thanh Thanh Cong Industrial Park has 54 projects; Phuoc Dong Industrial Park has 29 projects; Cha La Industrial Park has 1 project; TMTC Industrial Park has 8 projects; creating jobs for 45,513 workers.
Among them, the project with the largest investment capital is the Radian tire manufacturing project invested by Sailun Vietnam Co., Ltd. with a total investment capital of 1 billion USD, covering an area of 66.94 hectares located in Phuoc Dong Industrial Park.
Regarding production and business activities, the projects had revenue of 3,681 million USD; export of 3,408 million USD; import of 2,520 million USD; budget contribution of 43.5 million USD, equivalent to 1,023 billion VND.
In addition, there are also 8 projects registered by Chinese joint venture investors with a total investment capital of over 455 million USD, total land area of 47.54 hectares; creating jobs for 2,044 workers.
Among them, the project with the largest joint venture capital of Chinese investors is the ACTR All-Steel Radian Tire Manufacturing Project invested by ACTR Company Limited with a total investment of 280 million USD, scale of 16.42 hectares located in Phuoc Dong Industrial Park.
Promoting investment cooperation through media cooperation
At the meeting, in addition to discussing the potential for cooperation between the two sides, delegates listened to reports from Chinese investors on the operations of Chinese enterprises in Tay Ninh.
According to investors, Tay Ninh is currently one of the attractive destinations for Chinese enterprises thanks to its favorable investment environment, strategic location and open investment attraction policies. Enterprises highly appreciate the support from local authorities in creating conditions for investors to implement projects, especially in the fields of manufacturing, supporting industries and logistics.
At the meeting, Ms. Nguyen Thi Xuan Huong, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, expressed her appreciation for the positive assessments of the People's Daily Newspaper's delegation on the achievements that Tay Ninh has achieved.
The province has made significant progress in developing infrastructure, industry, tourism and agriculture. These are also the areas in which Tay Ninh wishes to strengthen cooperation with Chinese partners in the coming time.
To enhance connectivity, Tay Ninh proposed to use Nhan Dan Newspaper (Vietnam) and Nhan Dan Daily (China) as a bridge to help promote the province's potential to the Chinese business community. Ms. Nguyen Thi Xuan Huong emphasized that press cooperation not only helps businesses access investment policies but also promotes understanding, cultural exchange and economic cooperation between the two countries.
Mr. Tran Kien Van emphasized that the press of the two countries plays an important role in promoting mutual understanding, contributing to strengthening the traditional friendship. He hopes that in the coming time, Vietnamese localities, especially Tay Ninh, will continue to create favorable conditions for Chinese enterprises to invest, thereby promoting bilateral economic cooperation and bringing benefits to both sides.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Xuan Huong hopes that in the next phase, the Chinese delegation will have more time to learn more about Tay Ninh. In particular, with strong development in agriculture, tourism and industry... Tay Ninh has great potential to expand cooperation with China, towards sustainable and comprehensive development.
This event marks an important step forward in expanding cooperation between Tay Ninh and Chinese localities and enterprises.
