On November 19, in Hai Duong City, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Thai Nguyen Provincial Tourism Association coordinated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Hai Duong and Hung Yen Provincial Tourism Associations to organize a conference to promote tourism in Thai Nguyen province.
At the conference, delegates shared and discussed the tourism potential and strengths of Thai Nguyen, in which Thai Hai village left a strong impression on the delegates attending.
Thai Hai village is a tourist destination that preserves the cultural values of the Tay people (currently has about 300 households), with a capacity of several thousand tourists. Here, people build forests, live in a communal style, eat from the same pot of rice, spend money together and create tourism products together.
Visitors to Thai Hai village can immerse themselves in nature; learn about Tay culture; relax and improve their health with traditional medicine; enjoy ethnic cuisine in the cultural and emotional space of the indigenous people; participate in experiential activities...
Thai Nguyen also has many new tourism services: forest exploration, ziplining, and top 100 tea dishes. Infrastructure is increasingly being improved to serve tourism such as: Nui Coc lakeside road, gym, sports area, golf course... Travel agencies from Hai Duong and Hung Yen when bringing tourists to Thai Nguyen will be signed special preferential policies.
Thai Nguyen province is focusing on building and developing four main tourism product lines, including: cultural, spiritual, historical, and origin tourism; eco-tourism and resort tourism; community and rural tourism associated with tea culture; MICE tourism, sports, and adventure cave exploration...
At the conference, delegates said that Hai Duong, Hung Yen and Thai Nguyen have many similarities, so they can strengthen their cooperation in tourism development, especially agricultural tourism associated with rural areas. To develop tourism, we must develop services. In addition to focusing on developing luxury restaurants and hotels, localities need to pay attention to experience points and local specialties to retain tourists.
Other opinions say that it is necessary to increase promotional activities into campaigns. Promotion needs to be cross-linked between localities; develop unique, quality tourism products; link between tourism businesses. Tourism businesses also need the support of state agencies; build diverse tour packages... At the same time, it is necessary to apply information technology to tourism promotion.
Thai Nguyen has beautiful natural landscapes, converging many valuable historical and cultural relics to develop many attractive types of tourism. The whole province currently has over 1,000 relics, including 1 special national relic, 57 national relics, 23 heritages included in the list of national intangible cultural heritages, nearly 300 craft villages, over 230 OCOP products. This locality has 51 ethnic groups, of which the largest are 8 ethnic groups: Kinh, Tay, Nung, San Diu, San Chay, Dao, Mong, Hoa, which still preserve many unique cultural features. At the same time, Thai Nguyen is also the cradle of revolution with red addresses. This is the province with the largest tea area in the country. Tea trees and tea products have been associated with Thai Nguyen people for a long time.
