Concluding the Conference, Provincial Party Secretary, Head of the Steering Committee for the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in Thai Nguyen province Trinh Viet Hung affirmed that with the highest political determination, Thai Nguyen strives to complete the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses for eligible households before March 31, 2025.
The Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee emphasized that this is one of the important political tasks that the Party Committee, government, Fatherland Front, and mass organizations in the province need to focus on leading, directing, and organizing synchronous, drastic, and effective implementation.
The Steering Committees at the district and commune levels urgently and thoroughly review, compile specific, accurate and detailed statistics on the list of temporary and dilapidated houses that need support in the area, ensuring that they are correct and complete, and that no cases are missed. At the same time, prepare records for each household, agree on the method and form of implementation.
Particularly for households that do not meet the prescribed conditions, the Provincial Party Secretary requested localities to urgently review, make full statistics, and report to the Provincial Steering Committee to have appropriate support plans; strive to complete support for these cases by June 30, 2025.
Regarding funding sources, Provincial Party Secretary Trinh Viet Hung noted that, in addition to State resources, it is necessary to mobilize maximum social resources on the basis of diversifying support forms to ensure stable housing for households. Support must be public, transparent, in accordance with regulations, and for the right subjects, absolutely not allowing waste or negativity in the implementation process. Households that do not meet the conditions need to be analyzed, evaluated, and specific causes identified, records created, and solutions proposed for implementation in accordance with the law.
Heads of agencies, units and localities must promote the highest responsibility of setting an example, being pioneers, being exemplary, daring to think, daring to do, daring to take responsibility for the common good; regularly report to the Provincial Steering Committee to promptly direct the removal of difficulties and obstacles in the organization and implementation.
Previously, at the Conference, representatives of units and localities reported the number of temporary and dilapidated houses in need of support in the area; plans and solutions to complete the goal of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in the province according to the direction of the Prime Minister in Official Dispatch No. 102/CD-TTg dated October 6, 2024 on promoting the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide.
According to the Steering Committee's report, through review and statistics up to now, the whole province has 393 households eligible for support to remove temporary and dilapidated houses.
