Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Secretary attends Great Solidarity Day with the people

On November 17, leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Committee, People's Council, and Fatherland Front Committee of Thai Nguyen province visited hamlets and residential groups to celebrate the Great Unity Day with the people.

The delegation led by Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Secretary Trinh Viet Hung visited Phuc Tien hamlet, Phuc Triu commune, Thai Nguyen city, a hamlet with 172 households and 675 people. Over the years, the hamlet has always fulfilled its mission of joining hands to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas; the community unites to build a cultural life. The number of families achieving the title of "cultural family" reached nearly 99%, the hamlet achieved the title of cultural hamlet; the hamlet still has 1 poor household and 7 near-poor households.

In 2024, the people of Phuc Tien hamlet donated more than 1,500 square meters of land, hundreds of working days to expand the hamlet's road corridor and contributed 250 million VND to install electricity and lighting lines for people... The people of Phuc Tien mainly do agricultural economy , with tea trees as the main crop.

Speaking to the people of Phuc Tien hamlet, Provincial Party Secretary Trinh Viet Hung congratulated the hamlet's economic achievements, especially in poverty reduction and new rural construction. He hoped that the people would continue to promote the spirit of solidarity and unity in economic development, raising the value of local tea trees; and that the people support the construction of Nui Coc Lake to become a national key tourist area.

On this occasion, Provincial Party Secretary Trinh Viet Hung presented Phuc Tien hamlet with a photo of Uncle Ho and 25 million VND; presented meaningful gifts to the elderly, poor and near-poor households of the hamlet and Phuc Triu commune.

The delegation led by Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Pham Hoang Son attended the National Great Unity Day with people of Tam Thai residential group (TDP), Hoa Thuong town, Dong Hy district.

Tam Thai Residential Group (TDP) has 230 households, nearly 900 people, with 8 ethnic groups living together including: Kinh, San Diu, Ngai, Tay, Nung, Thai, Dao and San Chi. Basically, households have stable lives, there are no poor households and only 2 near-poor households. The movement to build civilized residential areas has been actively responded to by the people; strongly developing cultural and artistic movements, sports... In 2024, Tam Thai Residential Group has over 99% of households achieving the title of "Cultural Family", continuously from 2017 to present, achieving the title of "Cultural Residential Group".

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Pham Hoang Son highly appreciated the solidarity of Tam Thai people and their efforts to develop the economy. This is reflected in the fact that as a rural residential area, people mainly work in agriculture and are self-employed, but there are no poor households and the people's lives are basically well-off.

Mr. Pham Hoang Son suggested that Tam Thai Residential Area effectively implement the Grassroots Democracy Regulations, the motto of people knowing, people doing, people inspecting, people supervising, people benefiting; cadres and party members of Hoa Thuong town and Tam Thai Residential Area uphold the spirit of responsibility, set an example and be a role model in implementing the Party and State's policies for the people to follow, building a united and developed residential area.

Give gifts to families with preferential policies.

On this occasion, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Pham Hoang Son and the delegation presented 25 million VND to Tam Thai residential group; presented gifts to 17 meritorious people, relatives of martyrs and poor households of Hoa Thuong town.

Previously, on November 16, Mr. Nguyen Huy Dung, Chairman of Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee and Mr. Duong Van Tien, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, together with leaders of sectors and localities, celebrated the National Great Unity Day with the people of Dong Keu hamlet, Phu Dinh commune, Dinh Hoa district.

Dong Keu was recognized as a new rural hamlet in 2023; a typical cultural residential area in 2024; there are only 2 poor households left, no near-poor households; people promote the spirit of solidarity, compete in labor production, preserve the cultural identity of the nation...
