Thai Nguyen strives to have over 211,000 union members

To complete the plan, the Thai Nguyen Provincial Federation of Labor focuses resources on developing union members, establishing grassroots unions in agencies, units, newly established enterprises, foreign-invested enterprises, etc. At the same time, promoting propaganda work, doing a good job of caring for and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers; consolidating and improving the quality of grassroots union activities.

As a result, in 2022-2023 and the first 9 months of 2024, Thai Nguyen province has developed nearly 45,000 new union members and established 146 new grassroots unions. Currently, the Provincial Federation of Labor is directly managing nearly 175,000 workers, civil servants, and laborers, 1,462 grassroots unions with 160,000 union members.

Thai Nguyen Provincial Federation of Labor strives that by the end of 2028, the whole province will have over 211,000 union members and establish union organizations in 100% of enterprises with 20 or more employees.
