On June 28, according to information from Ha Long Border Guard Station, Van Don District, Quang Ninh Province, after many hours of coordination with Van Don District Police and local fishermen to search, the unit has just found the body of a fisherman on a sunken fishing boat.
Previously, at around 11:15 p.m. on June 27, 2024, in the Hon Cap Long Bi area (outside the East of Cai Rong fishing port), a wooden fishing boat nearly 12m long with license plate number: QN-8366-TS, owned by Mr. PVH, born in 1957, residing in group 1, area 8, Ha Phong ward, Ha Long city, Quang Ninh province, sank.
At the time of the sinking, there were 2 people on board. In addition to the owner of the vehicle, there was also Mr. NTC, born in 1976, residing in Bac Son commune, Sam Son city, Thanh Hoa province), who was a hired worker on the ship. The shipwreck caused Mr. PVH to go missing, while Mr. TTC was able to swim to shore.

Upon receiving the news, on the night of June 27, Ha Long Border Guard Station sent a motorboat with 4 officers and soldiers to coordinate with Van Don District Police and local fishermen to search for the missing person.
At 3:10 a.m. on June 28, 2024, after the tide receded, the vehicle surfaced and authorities discovered the missing body in the ship's hold.
The case is being investigated, verified and completed by Van Don District Police in accordance with the law .
