Last training session in Bien Hoa before joining Ho Chi Minh City

Today's general training session is the last time the parade forces practice in Bien Hoa before returning to Ho Chi Minh City.

From early morning, the parade groups gathered in large numbers at Air Force Regiment 935 Bien Hoa (Dong Nai).

To the bustling music of the military band, the decisive footsteps of soldiers, police, militiamen, etc. stretch along the training routes, creating a solemn scene.

The aircraft area was carefully prepared from 5am to complete the flagging and pre-flight checks to wait for the general training order.

This joint training session was directly observed by Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army Nguyen Tan Cuong, showing the importance of preparing for the big holiday.

In the coming days, the general training, preliminary and final rehearsals will continue to be held in Ho Chi Minh City to complete the final stages, towards the official parade taking place on April 30.

Thousands of people participate in the April 30 parade

The national parade to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day will officially take place at 6:30 a.m. on April 30, 2025, at the same time as the anniversary.

Participating in the parade were 36 groups of armed forces and police, jointly organized by the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Security. The next parade consisted of 12 groups, organized by Ho Chi Minh City.

There was also a cannon firing to the Vietnamese national anthem at Bach Dang wharf. Helicopters hoisted the flag, and Su-30MK2 and Yak130 fighters performed.
