Training on digital transformation in the culture, sports and tourism sector

On March 25, at the Hanoi Museum, the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports organized a training conference for civil servants and public employees of the industry on digital transformation knowledge.

At the conference, Dr. Nguyen Nhat Quang, Director of Vinasa-VSTI Institute of Science and Technology, introduced an overview of digital transformation in the cultural sector. Accordingly, officials and civil servants in the cultural sector were exposed to a number of contents related to digital transformation such as: The era of technological breakthroughs, dealing with new technologies; digital transformation, green transformation; digital data and digital connection - the main factor in digital transformation; digital data: "information carrier"; digital government and e-government; digital economy and digital production methods; digital society and superstructure, digital transformation content...

According to Dr. Nguyen Nhat Quang, science, technology and innovation play an important role in building and developing the cultural, social and human values ​​of Vietnam. In particular, the culture and sports sector needs to innovate products and services with data and connections; build cultural products into stories and encode them with QR codes. In addition, Dr. Nguyen Nhat Quang noted that it is necessary to operate management processes based on shared data; implement smart governance; build smart cultural infrastructure, etc.

During the discussion, lecturers and students discussed the development of digital cultural products at some relics in the city and the decentralization, delegation of authority, confidentiality, security and information safety when using unified and shared data.

Speaking at the Conference, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports Pham Xuan Tai said that the training conference was organized by the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports to implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation; at the same time, contributing to raising awareness and sense of responsibility of civil servants and public employees in advising, creatively and appropriately applying digital transformation in professional activities of the Culture and Sports sector.
