The Cooperative Alliance of Binh Thuan province has just coordinated with the Trade and Investment Promotion Center under the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance to organize a training course to improve capacity and develop markets for cooperatives.
Attending the training were representatives of the Trade and Investment Promotion Center under the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance; leaders of the Binh Thuan Cooperative Alliance and 70 trainees who are managers of agricultural cooperatives in the province.
At the training session, trainees were instructed on regulations related to import and export, knowledge about e-commerce. Especially the content about standards, requirements of the Chinese market for some Vietnamese agricultural products and procedures for importing and exporting agricultural products to the Chinese market. Through this training course, it also contributes to improving the level and knowledge of e-commerce promotion for leaders and managers of cooperatives.
In addition, the training course also introduced the way to exploit and use e-commerce sites as an optimal tool to promote, introduce and exchange products. Speaking at the training course, Mr. Phan Dinh Khiem - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Cooperative Union hoped that through the training course, trainees would be equipped with more knowledge and updated with new policies related to the collective economic sector. In addition, cooperative members will have more information about the market situation to apply in production; share difficulties and obstacles together, thereby seizing opportunities to approach and expand the market through e-commerce activities, helping cooperatives in the province improve the quality of operations and develop further.
