TPO - Two farmers in the Central Highlands accidentally discovered a unique-shaped bamboo tree in a dense bamboo bush full of thorns. After the two dug it up, brought it home and shared the image on social media, people immediately came to buy it.
Mr. Tran Van Tho (commonly known as Mody Tran), born in 1992, residing in Hoa Thuan commune, Buon Ma Thuot city, Dak Lak) currently owns this unique, completely natural bamboo tree. |
Through Mr. Tho, we learned that previously, two people working in the fields in Ea Wy commune, Ea H'leo district, Dak Lak discovered this bamboo tree in a dense, thorny bamboo bush by the stream. |
Mr. Vu - one of the two people who discovered the bamboo tree told Tien Phong reporter that he was very excited because he saw the unique bamboo tree. After that, he and his companion tried to trim the thorns and branches around it and then dug it up. |
It took about 3 hours for the two men to dig up the bamboo and find a way to transport it home. At first, Mr. Vu planned to cut it down to make a lamp holder, but then felt it was a pity so he dug up the whole soil to plant it. |
After sharing information on social networks and some channels, a woman immediately came to buy this bamboo tree from Mr. Vu, then sold it to another person in Gia Lai. |
Mr. Tho Mody surfed social networks, found out the information, immediately contacted to see and buy it for 14 million VND. |
As a bonsai player for about 6-7 years, this is the first time Mr. Tho has encountered a natural bamboo tree with this unique shape. |
"In Vietnam, there has not been a second bamboo tree as perfect as this one. From the root to the tip, it is a uniform green color, not patchy green and yellow like other bamboo trees," said Mr. Tho. |
"Since it is nature, it is very precious. It is difficult for humans to bend bamboo like this," Tho continued. |
After bringing the bamboo home, Mr. Tho trimmed it neatly and cut off some unsightly branches. |
The bamboo roots are bent into an infinity shape. Mr. Tho also ordered a brown earthenware pot to match the shape of the bamboo. |
According to Mr. Tho, some people are offering to pay over 25 million VND for this bamboo tree, but he is not selling it, just keeping it for fun. |
He left the bamboo tree right on the porch for guests to come and relax, drink water and enjoy the view. |
