WATCH CLIP:

On December 25, Dien Ban Town Police (Quang Nam) announced that they had just detained driver Ha Van Men (51 years old, residing in Que Son district) for resisting a person on duty.

Initial information, at around 1:40 p.m. on December 22, the Traffic Police Team of Dien Ban Town Police was patrolling and controlling on Highway 603B (Dien Ngoc Ward) when they discovered a truck with license plate number 43C-146XX traveling from Hoi An to Da Nang, entering a road section with a sign prohibiting trucks over 5 tons.

Although the working group signaled the car to stop for inspection, the driver did not comply and instead accelerated towards Da Nang.

While fleeing, the driver repeatedly ignored the traffic police's commands five times, even drove at high speed, swerved, and drove into the opposite lane, endangering other vehicles.

After being blocked by traffic police in coordination with local residents, driver Men finally stopped at Truong Sa Street (Hoa Hai Ward, Ngu Hanh Son District, Da Nang), more than 1km from the initial checkpoint.

Here, the working group drew up an administrative violation report against driver Men for driving a truck into a prohibited road, not obeying orders and not presenting a driver's license at the time of inspection.
