Danang International Guitar Festival 2024 is an "upgrade" of Danang International Guitar Concert, which received support from Danang People's Committee, Danang Department of Culture - Sports and guitarists and classical guitar lovers, organized by artist Phan Xuan Tri since 2012.
At the opening ceremony, artist Le Hoang Minh performed Suite Cavatina (5 movements) - a Neoclassical work by talented Polish musician Alexandre Tansman.

He won first prize at the Adelaide Spring Guitar Competition 2001 and first prize at the prestigious 50th Tokyo International Guitar Competition 2017.
Le Hoang Minh shared: "Vietnamese people love guitars very much; in Vietnam, we can easily see groups of young people holding guitars in the park playing and singing, guitars appear in many different spaces."

With 2 main concerts, the audience will enjoy a rich and diverse repertoire of music, spanning different musical periods, from Baroque music, Romantic music, Neoclassical music, Modern music and Latin - American music...
Artist Phan Xuan Tri believes that in Vietnam, classical guitar is quite selective in its audience. Even in his hometown of Da Nang, although it has developed in many aspects, classical guitar and chamber music still have many limitations.
"When initiating this festival, I really wanted to build and develop classical guitar art into a cultural point, a new feature of the city," he said.
