In Hai Chau district, the Digital Transformation Festival 2024 took place with the theme "Taking advantage of opportunities, being creative for development" aiming to promote and boost the application of digital technology, raise public awareness, and create opportunities for cooperation between units and businesses in the field of digital transformation.
Through the festival, Hai Chau district hopes to bring digital transformation closer to all classes of people, from leaders, businesses, students and local people.
Hai Chau District has selected prominent digital transformation enterprises in the area such as: FiveSS Technology Joint Stock Company; Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) Da Nang branch; Military Industry-Telecoms Group (Viettel) Da Nang branch; Note AR Joint Stock Company... to display, introduce, and promote digital products, applications and services to each cadre, civil servant and citizen in the district.

| Lien Chieu District People's Committee and Viettel Da Nang signed a comprehensive digital transformation cooperation agreement, marking the first time the two sides have cooperated in this field. |
Also on the morning of October 9, the People's Committee of Lien Chieu district organized a conference "Connecting digital transformation between government, businesses and the community" with the goal of communicating, disseminating and guiding businesses and people in digital skills; exploiting digital applications and platforms, professionalizing management and operation, improving the quality of service to people and enhancing interaction between people and the government.
At the conference, the People's Committee of Lien Chieu District and Viettel Da Nang signed a cooperation agreement on developing digital government and expanding access and exploitation of digital infrastructure for people. The proposed cooperation research will create a premise for the district to accelerate the digital transformation process in the area.
Accordingly, Viettel Da Nang will support the development and implementation of the Digital Transformation Project of Lien Chieu District for the period 2024-2026 and orientation to 2030 with the pillars: digital government, digital economy and digital society according to development orientations suitable for the locality; deploy technical infrastructure at the People's Committees of wards, wifi points for people at 100% of cultural houses, community activity houses, traffic surveillance camera system, security and order in the district.

Regarding digital citizens and digital society, the district aims to install digital signatures for 100% of people, officials, civil servants, public employees, and workers; electronic receipts for public services; standardizing mobile subscriber information and upgrading mobile subscribers from 2G, 3G to 4G/5G technology; providing utility services and welfare for poor and near-poor households according to national standards; promoting e-commerce, shopping, online payment, cashless payment; covering 5G mobile services.
Regarding digital government, Lien Chieu district aims to manage and monitor the implementation of tasks, manage the status of content implementation results via digital platforms; manage digital documents; equip camera management systems and intelligent image/video analysis; install smart speakers; apply virtual assistant software in carrying out construction and land licensing procedures; store cloud data; base medical information management platform; pilot EDOC document management system for schools.
