Hanoi Stock Exchange has a new General Director

On June 20, the Vietnam Stock Exchange (VNX) decided to appoint leadership personnel for the Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX).

Accordingly, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Long - Chairman of the Board of Members of Vietnam Stock Exchange presented the decisions to appoint the General Director and Head of the Supervisory Board of Hanoi Stock Exchange.

Mr. Nguyen Anh Phong - Acting General Director was appointed General Director of Hanoi Stock Exchange from June 15 according to Decision 15/QD-HDTV dated June 15 of the Board of Members of Vietnam Stock Exchange on the appointment of the position of General Director of Vietnam Stock Exchange.

The new General Director of HNX was born in 1976, with a Master's degree in Economics from the National Economics University in Hanoi. Mr. Nguyen Anh Phong has worked in the securities industry since 1999 at the State Securities Commission and then worked at the Hanoi Stock Exchange since 2000.

Mr. Phong has held the positions of Head of Department, Director of functional departments (2005-2011), Deputy General Director (2011-2021), Acting General Director (2021-2023).

At the same time, Ms. Ngo Thi Lan Huong - Deputy Chief of Office of the Board of Members of the Vietnam Stock Exchange was appointed to the position of Head of the Supervisory Board of the Hanoi Stock Exchange from June 15 according to Decision No. 16/QD-HDTV of the Board of Members of the Vietnam Stock Exchange.

Ms. Ngo Thi Lan Huong was born in 1985, with a Master's degree in Corporate Finance and Management Control - Toulon University in association with the Academy of Finance.

Ms. Huong has worked at the Hanoi Stock Exchange since 2007, holding the positions of Deputy Director of the General Legal Department (2017-2018), Deputy Chief of the Board of Directors Office (2018-2021), and Head of Internal Audit (2019-2021).

Since October 2021, Ms. Ngo Thi Lan Huong has worked at the Vietnam Stock Exchange, holding the position of Deputy Chief of Office of the Board of Members, Deputy Head of Internal Audit Department .
