In recent times, the entire Inspection sector has always closely followed the policies and directions of the Central and the province, focused on innovation in direction and administration; proactively and synchronously implemented many drastic solutions to improve efficiency in performing tasks, thereby,   Excellently completed assigned tasks in many aspects of work, actively contributing to the overall development of the province.

Mr. Tran Van Hung, Deputy Chief Inspector of the province, said: The provincial Inspectorate has proactively advised the province to issue many documents to lead, direct, and enhance the effectiveness of inspection activities, resolve complaints and denunciations (KNTC), prevent corruption and negativity, thereby contributing to improving the effectiveness and efficiency of state management. The development of the annual inspection and examination work plan program has been proactively surveyed and developed early, continuing to innovate in a comprehensive, focused, key and effective direction, meeting the requirements of state management and socio-economic development of the province. Units have strengthened inspection, supervision, and urging the implementation of conclusions, recommendations, and post-inspection handling decisions; increased publicity and transparency in inspection activities; focused on advising on resolving KNTC cases; preventing corruption and negativity, etc.

In 2024, the entire inspection sector carried out 174 socio-economic inspections, including 95 planned inspections and 79 unscheduled inspections; and issued conclusions on 137 inspections. Through the inspection conclusions, it was recommended to recover over 6.9 billion VND to the state budget; recommended other economic handling of over 26.5 billion VND and 45,000m2 .   land; proposed to withdraw and terminate investment activities for 3 projects; proposed to review responsibilities and handle according to regulations for 127 collectives and 126 individuals. The provincial inspectorate and the inspectorates of units have conducted 48 inspections and responsibilities checks, an increase of 29 (152.63%) compared to the same period in 2023, including thematic inspections on responsibilities in performing public duties of civil servants and public employees in handling administrative procedures and providing public administrative services. Through inspections and checks, it has recommended that units overcome some shortcomings and limitations in performing professional tasks; proposed to review responsibilities for 11 collectives and 14 individuals.

Specialized inspection and examination work has been effective, contributing to strengthening state management in all areas of social life. Department inspectors have conducted 440 specialized inspections and examinations (a decrease of 191 compared to the same period in 2023). Through inspection and examination work, 1,356 cases of individuals and organizations have been detected and administratively sanctioned, with a total fine of over 9.5 billion VND; recommendations to recover 754 million VND to the state budget; recommendations to handle other matters of 921.93 million VND and many other recommendations in the fields of state management...

The work of receiving citizens and handling complaints and denunciations has also been closely followed by the Inspection agencies in accordance with Directive No. 41-CT/TU dated February 15, 2024 of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, actively advising localities, departments and branches to develop implementation plans, bringing about certain results. The number of citizens, large groups, and cases of complaints and denunciations under their jurisdiction have all decreased sharply compared to the same period in 2023. The situation of complaints and denunciations in general has been kept stable, no "hot spots" have been formed, and no new complicated and crowded complaints and denunciations have arisen, causing instability in security, order and social safety. In 2024, state administrative agencies at all levels in the province received 6,763 citizens (down 31%), with 3,923 cases (down 31.6%). The total number of petitions received and processed was 9,355 (down 17.9%). The agencies have resolved 392/459 complaints; 15/18 denunciations. Petitions, reflections, duplicate petitions, anonymous petitions... were promptly handled according to regulations.

In the work of preventing and combating corruption and negativity (PCTNTC), the awareness and sense of responsibility of civil servants and public employees have had many positive changes. The Provincial Inspectorate, the Inspectorate of departments, branches and localities have advised leaders at the same level to disseminate and thoroughly and promptly the instructions of the Central Government, the Provincial Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee on PCTNTC work; at the same time, continue to promote propaganda and education to build a culture of integrity, no corruption, negativity, resolutely prevent and repel negative manifestations, degradation in ideology, politics, and documents of the province on tasks of socio-economic development in the province. Agencies, units and localities have organized propaganda and dissemination of PCTNTC with 405 classes/88,466 people; published over 250,000 documents on PCTNTC law; issued 1,400 implementation documents related to PCTNTC work. The dissemination, dissemination and propaganda have been carried out in many diverse and rich forms, promoting effectiveness, thereby creating a stronger and more obvious spread and change in the awareness and actions of cadres and civil servants, especially leaders at all levels from the provincial to the grassroots level, in accordance with the spirit of "3 no's" in anti-corruption (cannot, dare not, need not) contributing to maintaining political stability, promoting local socio-economic development, and strengthening people's trust in the fight against anti-corruption in the area.
