Thanh Thanh Cong - Bien Hoa Group explores investment opportunities in the agricultural sector in Dong Thap

DTO - On the morning of April 10, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Dong Thap province Tran Tri Quang and leaders of relevant departments and branches had a warm reception for the delegation of Thanh Thanh Cong - Bien Hoa Joint Stock Company (TTC AgriS) to learn about the potential and investment opportunities in the field of production and processing of agricultural products in the province.

The two sides exchanged cooperation contents.

At the meeting, Mr. Thai Van Chuyen - General Director of Thanh Thanh Cong - Bien Hoa Joint Stock Company shared that TTC AgriS is one of the leading agricultural corporations in Vietnam, with extensive experience in producing, processing and exporting high-quality agricultural products. The Group wishes to learn more about investment cooperation opportunities in Dong Thap, especially in areas such as: developing raw material areas, building modern processing plants, applying advanced technology to the production and consumption of agricultural products.

The delegation mentioned 5 areas of cooperation and investment in Dong Thap, including: developing fruit trees, especially bananas and pineapples (including finding land funds and cooperating with farmers and cooperatives); developing agricultural mechanization (ready to build an agricultural mechanization service center in the province, providing comprehensive solutions from equipment, technology to finance); cooperating in research and transferring agricultural technology; exploring the potential for investment in fruit juice processing factories; proposing a rice project (building a value chain for rice and agricultural products in the locality).

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee Tran Tri Quang welcomed the interest of TTC AgriS and emphasized that, in the direction of agricultural restructuring, the province pays special attention to exploiting the full value of its strong industries (especially tra fish and rice). Therefore, the Company's proposal is very consistent with the direction of Dong Thap, the province appreciates and is ready to create all favorable conditions for businesses to learn, invest and cooperate effectively in Dong Thap province.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Tri Quang assigned relevant departments and branches to provide full information and support TTC AgriS in the process of surveying, researching and developing specific investment plans.

The working session ended successfully, opening up many prospects for cooperation between Dong Thap province and Thanh Thanh Cong - Bien Hoa Group in the agricultural sector.
