Da Nang awards certificates to 11 4-star OCOP products in 2025

Accordingly, in the first phase of 2025, Da Nang recognized the classification assessment results for 11 products of 7 entities achieving 4-star OCOP products. The assessment results are valid for 3 years.

11 products include: Nam O fish sauce - Binh Minh fish sauce; Nam O fish sauce - Huong Lang Co; Phuoc Ha beef sausage; Fried mackerel sausage; Five Elements incense set; Five Elements incense set, Cinnamon sandals; Cinnamon high-class insoles; Crispy young grapefruit slices; Young grapefruit tea; Crispy young grapefruit sticks.

Nhien Tam Cooperative (Lien Chieu District) has 3 new products that have achieved 4-star OCOP: Crispy young grapefruit slices, young grapefruit tea, and crispy young grapefruit sticks. This is a completely new product line created from whole young grapefruit, using low-temperature crispy drying to retain nutrients. Currently, the unit is also cooperating with grapefruit growing areas in Da Nang as well as other provinces and cities.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Tam, Director of Nhien Tam Cooperative shared: “Our products have been well received by the market for many years, however, being classified as a 4-star OCOP product by the city is a recognition of the unit's efforts, thereby also creating trust with the market, consumers and users.

Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Da Nang City Vu Thi Bich Hau acknowledged the efforts of the subjects as well as the support of the locality, departments and branches so that the subjects and OCOP products are increasingly better.

“In the coming time, I hope that each entity will work together to make their products stand out in the market, improve product design and quality to reach further. The Department will continue to research and develop appropriate policies to better support people and entities as well as develop this program,” said Ms. Hau.

Up to now, Da Nang city has nearly 150 OCOP products. On this occasion, 24 products of 11 entities also participated in the second phase of city-level evaluation and classification in 2025.
