Arrangement of district and commune level administrative units of Lam Dong province in the period of 2023

(TN&MT) - In Resolution No. 1245/NQ-UBTVQH15, the National Assembly Standing Committee resolved to rearrange districts and communes of Lam Dong province for the period 2023 - 2025.

From the effective date of this Resolution (December 1, 2024), Lam Dong province has 10 district-level administrative units, including 08 districts and 02 cities; 137 commune-level administrative units, including 106 communes, 18 wards and 13 towns.

Arrangement of Cat Tien, Da Teh, Da Huoai districts and their subordinate commune-level administrative units

Merge the entire natural area of 426.71 km2, population of 44,783 people of Cat Tien district and the entire natural area of 526.73 km2, population of 57,194 people of Da Teh district into Da Huoai district. After merging, Da Huoai district has a natural area of 1,448.48 km2 and a population of 146,064 people.

Da Huoai district borders Bao Lam district, Bao Loc city; Binh Phuoc, Binh Thuan, Dak Nong and Dong Nai provinces.

Arrange the commune-level administrative units of Da Huoai district as follows:

Merge the entire natural area of 32.15 km2 and the population of 3,106 people of Trieu Hai commune into Quang Tri commune. After merging, Quang Tri commune has a natural area of 86.51 km2 and a population of 6,380 people.

Quang Tri commune borders Da Kho, Da Pal, Da Oai, Ha Lam, My Duc communes, Da Teh town and Bao Lam district;

Ba Gia commune was established on the basis of merging the entire natural area of 38.53 km2 and the population of 2,156 people of Doan Ket commune and the entire natural area of 92.98 km2 and the population of 4,344 people of Da P'loa commune. After establishment, Ba Gia commune had a natural area of 131.51 km2 and a population of 6,500 people.

Ba Gia commune borders Ha Lam commune, Da M'ri town; Bao Lam district and Binh Thuan province;

Merge the entire natural area of 80.83 km2 and the population of 3,540 people of Phuoc Loc commune into Ha Lam commune. After merging, Ha Lam commune has a natural area of 124.21 km2 and a population of 7,743 people.

Ha Lam commune borders Ba Gia, Da Oai, Da Pal, Quang Tri communes, Da M'ri town, Madaguoi town and Binh Thuan province;

Merge the entire natural area of 45.12 km2 and the population of 1,660 people of Da Ton commune into Da Oai commune. After merging, Da Oai commune has a natural area of 68.39 km2 and a population of 5,908 people.

Da Oai commune borders Da Kho, Ha Lam, Madaguoi, Quang Tri communes, Madaguoi town and Dong Nai province.

After the arrangement, Da Huoai district has 23 commune-level administrative units, including 18 communes: An Nhon, Ba Gia, Da Kho, Da Lay, Da Oai, Da Pal, Dong Nai Thuong, Duc Pho, Gia Vien, Ha Lam, Madaguoi, My Duc, Nam Ninh, Phuoc Cat 2, Quang Ngai, Quang Tri, Quoc Oai, Tien Hoang and 05 towns: Da M'ri, Da Teh, Cat Tien, Madaguoi, Phuoc Cat.

Arrangement of commune-level administrative units in Lam Dong province

Arrange the commune-level administrative units of Don Duong district as follows:

Merge the entire natural area of 87.84 km2 and population of 7,300 people of Pro commune into Quang Lap commune. After merging, Quang Lap commune has a natural area of 97.63 km2 and a population of 14,177 people.

Quang Lap commune borders Ka Don commune, Ka Do commune, Thanh My town; Duc Trong district and Ninh Thuan province.

After the arrangement, Don Duong district has 09 commune-level administrative units, including 07 communes and 02 towns.

Dissolution of Da Teh District People's Court, Lam Dong Province and Cat Tien District People's Court, Lam Dong Province.

Dissolution of Da Teh District People's Procuracy, Lam Dong Province and Cat Tien District People's Procuracy, Lam Dong Province.

The People's Court of Da Huoai district, Lam Dong province is responsible for inheriting the duties and powers of the People's Court of Da Teh district and the People's Court of Cat Tien district, Lam Dong province according to the provisions of law.

The People's Procuracy of Da Huoai district, Lam Dong province is responsible for inheriting the tasks and powers of the People's Procuracy of Da Teh district and the People's Procuracy of Cat Tien district, Lam Dong province according to the provisions of law.
