Tiktoker Star Long Chun Invests in Khuong Ngoc's Film

Long Chun is a familiar Tiktoker to the Vietnamese online public, through short video clips with humorous elements, "sarcastic" and "bitchy" style. He inspires belief in life, self-love and conveys the message "nothing is impossible" if you try your best.

Long Chun's real name is Tran Hoang Long, born in 1994 in Hanoi, and is an actor at the Youth Theater. After leaving the show "Familiar Faces" in 2020, he discovered that he had a dangerous disease called "jaw bone tumor". Despite active treatment, his mouth and face still could not return to normal.

Therefore, Long Chun encountered many difficulties when continuing to create content online. He encountered many attacks, contempt for his appearance and other negative things from a part of the online public.

"Maybe because this guy often talks about karma online, now he has karma. Karma hits him right in the face" - is the criticism that haunts and hurts the actor to this day. He believes that it is because of his optimistic and strong nature that he was able to overcome that terrible period.

Currently, Long Chun officially joined Thanh Nien Theater in Ho Chi Minh City. He happened to hear actors Khuong Ngoc and Ngoc Phuoc discussing the script for the movie "Live - #Livestream".

At that time, he was excited because the film's content was about his job and also had online violence, which exhausted the character's spirit. Long Chun borrowed the script to start with and then decided to invest in the film. "Ngoc asked me, "Do you want to join now?". I nodded and joined right away, without thinking," Long Chun recalled.

In the film, he also plays a content creator on an online platform, contributing to a "storm" of attacks on another content creator, regardless of right or wrong.

"Live - #Livestream" is adapted from stories from the short story collection "Horror City" by author Nguyen Ngoc Thach.

The film chooses two themes "Mukbang" (eating a lot, live streaming and interacting with the audience) and Review (commenting, evaluating products...) to depict the reality of life, the dark side of social networks, and the problem of cyber violence.

The film brings together actors: Ngoc Phuoc, Quoc Khanh, Ngan 98, Kha Nhu, BB Tran, Hai Trieu... expected to be released on September 22.
