“Organic is the key to a better world. Together, let's protect the climate, create sustainable solutions and shape a livable future for future generations.” That was the theme of the Biofach 2024 Fair, which ended on the evening of February 16 in the city of Nuremberg, Bavaria, southern Germany.
During the four days of the fair, the organizers and exhibitors presented visionary ideas for organic food and cosmetics. Here, visitors not only experienced innovative products and explored the concepts of sustainable cosmetics and nutrition, but also broadened their horizons, exchanged ideas with like-minded people and were inspired by leading experts.
Traditional dishes with a vegan twist, tamari made from buckwheat or peas, alternative sweeteners and innovative, sustainable packaging concepts. At several Start-ups and Young Innovators booths, visitors have the opportunity to directly explore trends in the organic sector and find inspiration from sustainable concepts.
At Biofach, visitors can also explore organic food with all five senses as they experience the quality of certified organic products. Not only can they enjoy and taste a wide variety of vegan products, they can also learn interesting things about zero waste and zero packaging concepts.
Although Biofach 2024 takes place during the Spring of Giap Thin in Vietnam, with the determination to continue bringing organic agricultural products to the world, Vietnam has participated in this world's leading fair for the 7th consecutive year.
Ms. Dang Thi Bich Huong, Vice President and General Secretary of the Vietnam Organic Agriculture Association (VOAA) led 8 Vietnamese enterprises to participate in the world's leading trade fair on organic food Biofach 2024. This is an activity within the framework of VOAA's National Trade Promotion program.

At the Fair, Ms. Do Viet Ha, representative of the Vietnam Trade Office in Germany, met with businesses and acknowledged VOAA's efforts in accessing the European market. The Vietnam Trade Office in Germany also said that it will coordinate and provide maximum support to attract more businesses wishing to participate in Biofach in the coming years.
This year, Vietnamese enterprises' products are quite unique with strange items that customers are interested in such as: soy sauce from coconut nectar, sugar from coconut flowers, coconut flower vinegar (from Sokfarm); grass straws, bamboo straws and some organic agricultural products such as pepper, cinnamon, star anise, cashew nuts...
Biofach 2024 brings together over 3,000 booths from over 100 countries, showcasing the latest, most innovative and forward-looking products, contributing to one of the most comprehensive organic food product exhibitions.
