At the conference, Saigon Co.op signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in consuming Tay Ninh products with more than 20 suppliers who are Tay Ninh specialty producers. These are hundreds of items such as wild vegetables; rice; rice paper; chili salt, pepper salt, shrimp salt; cashew fish sauce; cashew nuts; pia cake, cajuput essential oil, Ba Den traditional rice wine; dried grapefruit pulp, grapefruit tea, grapefruit wine; dried crickets; melon, custard apple, mango; various types of tea, jarred bird's nest and wine; Bo Chinh ginseng, dried crickets; incense ...

Immediately after the signing ceremony, Tay Ninh specialties will quickly appear on the shelves of 800 points of sale of Saigon Co.op and be distributed to consumers nationwide.

To celebrate the successful signing of the product supply agreement between Tay Ninh province enterprises and Saigon Co.op, from June 3 to 7, the Co.opmart, Co.opXtra, Co.op Food, Finelife systems in Ho Chi Minh City and Tay Ninh organized Tay Ninh Specialty Week to display and promote 19-40% off items such as melon, custard apple, rice paper and chili salt.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Duong Van Thang - Vice Chairman of Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee - said that the signing of the supply of goods between units and enterprises with Saigon Co.op is just the beginning. After this conference, enterprises and production units in the province will spread the spirit of new production, new production methods, with the foundation of high technology application, towards the strategy of developing clean agriculture. Thereby improving productivity, quality, efficiency and competitiveness so that Tay Ninh strives to become a locality with a top position in the country in applying high technology and techniques to agricultural production.
