Ha Giang province is regularly voted as an ideal destination by prestigious travel magazines around the world. In particular, The New York Times (USA) ranked Ha Giang in the list of the most attractive destinations in the world; The World Travel Awards (WTA) honored Ha Giang as the leading regional cultural destination in Asia in 2024... This year's Tet holiday, Ha Giang continues to be an ideal tourist destination among the northern mountainous provinces when the Provincial People's Committee is determined to build the Ha Giang tourism brand in 2025 as a safe, attractive and unique destination.

Like the northern mountainous provinces, the Central Highlands is bustling with the Tet atmosphere this time of year. In Mang Den town (Kon Plong district, Kon Tum province), cherry blossoms have begun to bloom, helping the highland town to put on a new coat. The weather is chilly, with an average temperature of only 14 - 17 degrees Celsius during and after Tet, along with fog in the early morning and light sunshine at noon, allowing visitors to freely and comfortably admire the brilliant flowers.

The Kon Plong district government has planted cherry blossoms in most areas of Mang Den town and neighboring areas of Mang Canh commune. Places with many blooming flowers, attracting tourists to visit are the central square of Mang Den town, Dak Ke lake, Dam Bri lake and along the road to town. In addition, many cherry blossoms are planted in homestays and accommodation areas and are blooming together.

Ms. Hoang To Nga - Deputy Head of the Department of Culture and Information of Kon Plong district said that this year, the cherry blossoms bloomed about 1 week earlier than previous years. Due to the cold temperature this year and the long cold period, when they bloom, the colors of the flowers are more beautiful, fresher, and the flowers are also larger than previous years. It is expected that this year, Mang Den will welcome more than 10,000 visitors during the cherry blossom season.
