Free film screening to celebrate 50 years of Southern Liberation Day

The program is organized to promote outstanding Vietnamese feature films, contributing to arousing historical traditions, promoting patriotism and national pride; recognizing and affirming the values ​​and revolutionary achievements of the country and people of Vietnam.

From April 21 to 24, audiences will enjoy the documentary "Spring Victory" (4 episodes) and the feature film "Saigon Special Forces" (4 episodes).

The documentary "Some images of the liberation of Saigon" and the feature film "The Wild Field" will be shown on April 25.

On April 26, the feature film "Liberation of Saigon" will be shown.

The documentary "Spring Victory" is produced by the People's Army Cinema and the Vietnam Film Institute. The film tells the story of the fight of our army and people during the spring campaign in 1975.

The feature film "Saigon Special Forces" was produced in 1985 by director Long Van. The film recreates the outstanding battles of the Saigon Special Forces in the resistance war against American imperialism.

"The Wild Field" is a work by director Nguyen Hong Sen. The main setting of the film is the Dong Thap Muoi region during the Vietnam War. The film won the Golden Lotus Award - Vietnam Film Festival and the Gold Medal - Moscow International Film Festival.

The feature film "Liberating Saigon" was released to audiences in 2005, also directed by Long Van, based on the work "Saigon - The Epic" by writer Hoang Ha, with the participation of actors Ha Trong, Duc Thuan, Quan Tao, Trong Hieu../.
