Based on the design and polyurethane coated steel belt (flat cable) technology from Otis' best-selling Gen2 elevator, the new Gen3 elevator is available in both machine room and machine room-less versions, suitable for a wide range of building uses, including low-rise residential, apartment buildings, commercial centers, hotels, medical centers and industrial.

The Otis ONE IoT digital platform embedded in Gen3 elevators enables proactive communication by continuously monitoring equipment health and performance in real time. As needs change and new features emerge, the connected platform enables seamless addition of future technologies and capabilities.

Otis eView elevator displays allow entertainment, building updates, weather, breaking news, or promotional videos to be displayed. In case of emergency, e-View displays allow for a 24/7 video connection to the OTISLINE® customer support center, providing peace of mind for passengers.

Compass360 intelligent destination control technology analyzes the destination before passengers enter the elevator, with SmartGrouping technology, Compass360 groups passengers going to the same floor to get them to their destination faster, shortening waiting times by up to 50% during peak hours.

With the Otis eCall™ Plus app, passengers can call elevators and floors from their smartphones, skipping the step of pressing the elevator call button.

In keeping with Otis’ commitment to sustainability, the Gen3 elevators include the Otis ReGen™ energy recovery system, LED lighting, and sleep mode to help reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions. They also offer modern, personalized designs that enhance passenger health and comfort. Otis’ cabin air purifiers use bipolar ionization technology to significantly reduce bacteria and viruses in elevators.
