On the afternoon of October 10, the Provincial Women's Union launched the Thanh Hoa Provincial Women Intellectuals Club and held a talk on the topic "Promoting the role of female intellectuals in building and developing the country".

Attending the launching ceremony, Central delegates included Ms. Hoang Thi Ai Nhien, Vice President of the Vietnam Association of Intellectual Women, Former Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Women's Union; Associate Professor, Dr. Bui Thi An, President of the Hanoi Association of Intellectual Women; Duong Thi Ngoc Linh, Member of the Central Presidium of the Vietnam Women's Union, Director of the Center for Women and Development.

Delegates from Thanh Hoa province included members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee: Pham Thi Thanh Thuy, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Nguyen Van Thi, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Quang Hai, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council and representatives of leaders of departments, branches, and the provincial business community.

Over the years, the team of female intellectuals in our province has grown, truly becoming a high-quality human resource for the period of industrialization, modernization and international integration. They have contributed an important voice in planning and organizing the implementation of socio-economic development strategies of the country, the province and the locality. At the provincial level, there are 7 female/65 comrades who are members of the Provincial Party Executive Committee (accounting for 10.8%); at the district level, there are 174 female/887 comrades who are members of the District Party Executive Committee (accounting for 19.62%); at the commune level, there are 1,702 female/7,056 comrades who are members of the Commune Party Executive Committee (accounting for 24.12%). Female deputies of the XV National Assembly reached 21.43%; female deputies of the Provincial People's Council reached 20%; female deputies of the District People's Council reached 28.87%; female deputies of the Grassroots People's Council reached 27.29%. Many women have high academic degrees and titles and are getting younger.

Thanh Hoa Province Women Intellectuals Club with the participation of 27 members from various sectors and fields such as education and training, science and technology, economics, health, culture... and a number of leaders and former leaders who are interested and participate in the activities of the Association.

The Standing Committee of the Provincial Women's Union presented the decision to establish the Thanh Hoa Provincial Women Intellectual Club.

The club's mission is to gather, connect, and promote the intellectual potential and great contribution of female intellectuals in research and application of science and technology to life, while also researching, proposing, participating in criticism, and building policies of the Party and State in various fields, especially on gender equality.

Speaking at the club's launching ceremony, comrade Pham Thi Thanh Thuy, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee affirmed: The launching of the Women Intellectuals Club is a premise towards the establishment of the Provincial Women Intellectuals Association in 2025, aiming to continue building and promoting the role of the intellectual team to meet the requirements of rapid and sustainable national development in the new period.

Provincial leaders and business community presented flowers to congratulate female intellectuals and businesswomen.

He hoped that the Club's Executive Board would develop specific and practical activities, contributing to promoting and encouraging female intellectuals to overcome difficulties in work and work, constantly striving, promoting creativity, overcoming barriers and social prejudices to assert themselves. Timely reflecting the thoughts, aspirations, recommendations, proposals as well as contributions of female intellectuals to the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Committee, relevant departments and branches to create conditions for female intellectuals to contribute more and more effectively to the province and the country. At the same time, promoting the role of the intellectual team to solve issues related to women.
